I thought it was just me, so I feel a little better already. Anyway, there's some nasty rumors floating around - I mean, worse than what people were saying about Kanji, and I thought you might know how much is true.
Let's see... I've heard that she's destroyed five different gangs, that she's the daughter of a mob boss, that she is a mob boss, that she's a homeless vagrant, that she killed a man for looking at her funny, that she never sleeps, and that she shoplifts from convenience stores.
... and no, I'm not making any of those up. The rumors about that girl are nuts.
I've heard a few of those as well. I can tell you that she is neither the daughter of a mob boss, nor a mob boss herself. As far as I'm aware she hasn't committed any sort of homicide.
That said, I believe she did take on at least one gang, but as I said she has not been convicted or accused of any sort of homicide so how she did it remains a mystery. She does appear to be a vagrant. At the very least she doesn't reside in Inaba itself. She has shoplifted from convenience stores and I once saw her attempting to steal money from an ATM.
So while some of the rumors are a bit off the mark, it's easy to see how they might have started.
[She absolutely hears the strain, but honestly she doubts she would have been able to phrase it much better.]
I've been wondering that too. Part of me feels that he must know. He always seems to be very aware of what's going on around town and I don't doubt that he would have heard the rumors too.
So the questions that remain are does he know something we don't or, perhaps, is he truly unaware of her deeds?
[There's another long pause, as Yosuke has to reconcile both what he wants to say with the person he's talking to. It's no good if she hangs up on him, after all.]
So... we're two friends who are worried about someone. Which means if maybe we, I don't know... just did some observation to make sure everything's okay, that'd be totally normal! Right?

... We would have to be very careful, but I don't believe it would be action that would be considered out of character. It would be wise to gather as much information as we can before potentially approaching Yu-senpai with something such as this.

We'll start by gathering information discretely and move on to observation at a later date. If we rush in and try to do everything at once we'll be far more prone to making mistakes and the last thing we need is for Yu-senpai to start to be suspicious of our motives...
